I did it! I did something completely random and un unplanned-which is a big deal because I like to plan the things I’m going to plan. And crossed something off my bucket list that I didn’t even know was a thing to be on my bucket list. But I did it, and I can brag about it for all time.
Did you know that there is a David Hasselhoff museum? It’s in Berlin tucked away in the lower level of a hostel/beer pub but it has ALL OF THE THINGS that the official David Hasselhoff museum has to have. Like a model of KITT and his Baywatch outfit, a gold record, a photo of him helping tear down/singing at the Berlin Wall and a giant mural. Seriously why isn’t this in the travel guides? It’s like the epicenter of 80’s and 90’s pop culture in one room.

And it was autographed because of course he’s been there. I mean wouldn’t you go to your own museum if there was one? I don’t know that I have anything anyone would want to see on display except maybe this picture of me at the David Hasselhoff museum:

Be kind to me and my bedraggled appearance because I actually was coming down with a cold and had a fever in this photo. My last day in Berlin and I was not going to spend it napping. The only thing you should be reading on my expression is the fact that I was pretty darn pleased with myself.
I don’t have a whole lot more to say about this other than the fact that I am well aware that my propensity is to plan and then plan some more, I had a super amazing day that was filled with unexpected surprises that I would have otherwise missed out on. I even discovered an awesome restaurant that I didn’t research on TripAdvisor first called Hummus & Friends, where their motto was “make hummus, not walls”. Sign me up.

Life is short, don’t let it pass you by. Embrace the campiness of life and enjoy the small things. Make some hummus, watch a little Baywatch, and be with the people you love.
